College Essay Services

My coaching process starts with a one-on-one meeting via Zoom (or in person if you’re in the Twin Cities). We’ll chat and I’ll get to know a bit about you and your goals. I also like to hear how you tell stories, which allows me to learn a bit about your storytelling style. From there we will brainstorm, create an outline for your essay and come up with an introductory paragraph or two to help you get started writing. From there, you’ll write your draft and I’ll offer line-by-line editorial feedback. After any changes, we’ll work together online as much as needed until you love the final product. I won’t let any student off with an essay they aren’t 100 percent proud of and excited to submit to colleges.

If you already have your draft written and prefer just to work together on the editing process, I can help with that too!

For the entire college essay coaching process, I charge $450. That includes:

• Brainstorming essay topics based on your individual life experiences
• Telling a story that best defines who you are
• Crafting short essays for specific school prompts (if required)
• Writing the first draft
• Editing at all stages of the writing process

If you have a draft already written and are looking for just help with the editing process, I charge $75 per hour.
